Privacy notice

Who can sign up

Accounts are for people aged 18 or older. If you believe someone under 18 has an account, contact us and we will remove it.

What we store

• Accounts: your username, email address, an encrypted form of your password, your role, and the dates you joined and last logged in.
• Comments and ratings: what you post and rate. Approved comments appear publicly with your username. Ratings appear only as part of an average.
• Favorites: the idols you save. Your list is private and isn't shown to other members.
• Messages and reports: what you send through the contact and report forms.
• Abuse prevention: a scrambled form of your connection's address, used to limit spam and repeated login attempts.
• Cookies: one cookie that keeps you logged in and protects forms. We don't use advertising cookies. Google reCAPTCHA may set its own cookies on the forms that use it.

How we use it

We use this information to run your account, reply to you, and keep the site safe. We don't sell it. Your email address is never shown publicly. Page fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your connection's address when they load. The contact and comment forms may use Google reCAPTCHA to block spam, which sends information about your device and activity to Google under its privacy policy and terms.

Your choices

You can change your email or password, or permanently delete your account, on your account page. For anything else, email admin@maleteenidols.com.
